Maryrose Eichelberger, MDFounder & Functional Medicine Practitioner
A graduate of the University of Maryland Medical School, Dr. Eichelberger’s early training came in a traditional medicine model, with a primary focus on diagnosing disease and providing pharmaceutical treatments. Over the last 24 years, she has taken part in the treatment of thousands of patients, adhering to her traditional and acute-care model of medicine. During that time she realized these approaches alone were less effective in addressing the complexity of chronic conditions, such as; autoimmune diseases, dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, chronic fatigue, and others.
In her over twenty-five years of primary care practice, Dr. Eichelberger always strove to learn new ways to best serve her patients. This led her to pursue additional training in the field of functional medicine which is based on addressing the core causes of chronic disease. Combining critical information that includes genetic, environmental, hormonal, and lifestyle considerations, she has worked to formulate comprehensive treatment approaches that address whole-body health.
The Annapolis Center for Restorative Medicine is built on the foundations that Dr. Eichelberger has pursued with passion and insight. She and her entire team are dedicated to helping all under her care to manage their wellness and live life to its very fullest.
